Manchester United almost crashed out of Europe this week when throwing away a one goal lead against Ajax in a match they ended up losing 2-1. This could have caused an extremely embarrassing exit for a team that has been already axed from the Champions League this season.

The third English team still in the competition was Stoke that had to make the tricky trip in Spain to face Valencia. The hosts beat them 1-0 after being backed at 1.50 and this result was more than enough to see them through.
Sporting Lisbon also managed to win over Legia Warsaw (the hosts matched at 5.10).
One site worth keeping an eye on are Udinese. Even if they were held to a goalless draw in the first leg, they went away to PAOK Saloniki and won 3-0. They were matches at odds of 85.00 to win with this exact result and when they are in a good night they are capable of beating everyone.
